Warner Bros. announces release dates for “Man From U.N.C.L.E”

THECELEBRITYCAFE.COM – Warner Bros. will be releasing the big-screen adaptation of the classic TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. less than a year from now. The film will be released Jan. 16, 2015, which is Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

Armie Hammer, Henry Cavill, Alicia Vikander and Luca Calvani are set to star in the big screen reboot, Moviefone reported.

Hammer has not had much luck when it comes to reboots. His film The Lone Ranger did not do well at the box office or in DVD sales following the film’s release.

Steven Soderbergh was set to direct the project, but after he dropped out, Guy Ritchie took over directing duties in 2012.

The movie company also announced that the upcoming film Focus starring Will Smith will be released on Feb. 27, 2015. Margot Robbie will also be staring in Focus Deadline reported.

Earlier, Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart were both attached to the project, but the roles now have gone to Smith and Robbie.
